Charlotte, NC – December 16, 2009 – National Energy Equipment, Inc (NEE) has signed an agreement to be the distributor of SPATCO DEF Dispensing Systems in Canada. NEE has 13 branch locations throughout Canada and brings over 50 years of liquid handling experience to the market.

“National Energy Equipment is a well respected player in the petroleum industry and will do an excellent job with distribution and service for our customers in Canada”, says Matt Jenkins, vice president of business development, SPATCO DEF.

SPATCO’s qualified distribution network provides DEF Dispensing equipment, as well as installation and service capabilities, across the USA and Canada.

“SPATCO provides us with a wide range of quality equipment adaptable to our environment and market which we are excited to offer in Canada and include in our national DEF solutions”, says Tiina McCombie, director, National Energy Equipment.

The EPA has mandated that Class 6 – 8 diesel vehicles manufactured after January 1, 2010 must be equipped with technology to reduce NOx emissions.  By injecting DEF, a mixture of urea and water, into the exhaust of vehicles using Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, harmful NOx emissions are reduced to almost zero.
