Secondary Containment for Tote Storage Enclosure System

Charlotte, NC – January 22, 2010 – SPATCO™ DEF has added an industry first secondary containment feature to their Tote Storage Enclosure System.  Secondary containment is required for the storage of all regulated hazardous materials.  While Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is not considered a hazardous liquid by the EPA, this containment option will be a benefit to those customers concerned with ground and water contamination.

 All SPATCO™ DEF Enclosure Systems are designed in accordance with the EPA’s Aboveground Storage Tank guidelines and are available for order now through one of our qualified distributors.  Standard features include:

-         Insulated and heated, 330 Gallon FRP skinned tote enclosure

-         Large Door opening for tote removal and replacement

-         Integral Door for accessing dispensing nozzle and flow meter

-         Mag-Drive self-priming pump

-         Stainless Steel Automatic Nozzle with Full Nozzle Boot for nozzle storage

-         Positive Displacement Gear Flow meter with electronic resettable totalizer, and output pulse for connecting to existing fleet management system.

-         Flow meter has 0.5 % accuracy

-         Mounted Inline Filter housing with 1 micron filter

-         15 ft. Dispensing Hose with 5 ft. Suction Hose for connection to tote

-         Spring Retractable Hose Reel with Stainless Steel internals for dispensing hose

-         Forklift channels for easy mobility
